Publish deliberately
Check the project, environment, allowed domain, hypothesis, variants, primary goal, planned horizon and active subscription. Publishing creates a new immutable configuration version. Delivery is asynchronous, so inspect the actual delivered version before assuming the website has changed.
AI clients must review the exact lifecycle action and obtain your confirmation before invoking it. The review token expires after ten minutes and is rejected if the experiment or related configuration has changed.
Pause and resume
Pausing publishes a configuration that withdraws the experiment from new assignments. The frozen measurement plan remains intact. A paused experiment can be resumed when its existing plan and subscription allow it; do not edit the locked allocation to introduce a new test.
Complete an experiment
Completion records the end time and preserves the results. Completed experiments cannot restart. Consider the conversion window and your pre-specified horizon before treating the result as final.
Configuration rollback
A rollback creates another immutable version based on an earlier environment configuration. It can withdraw experiments but cannot restore paused or completed allocations. Review the exact historical version and affected environment first.
